Concrete Easily Covers

Asphalt Surfaces

If you currently have asphalt bike paths or recreational trails, there's a way to stop the headaches and expense that come from repairing, patching and coating the surfaces: Upgrade by covering them with a concrete overlay called whitetopping.

Here's how it works: The worn asphalt surface serves as the base for the concrete. Instead of tearing the asphalt up and disposing of it, simply use it as a base after repairing or replacing heavily damaged areas. Once the concrete overlay is in place, the costly repair cycle that makes asphalt difficult to maintain will be over for good.

All good reasons that concrete has also been the building material of choice in landscaping for heavily-used urban and garden paths, footpaths in country parks, rural trails and other recreation areas, and riverside paths.
